Nang Wichata Loungchat is an accomplished academician with 9 years of teaching experience at VUBC. She holds an M.A. in Political Science and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), Namsai. As Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, she specializes in student politics, state politics, indigenous governing systems, and local self-government. Her research focuses on bridging traditional governance practices with contemporary political frameworks. She has contributed to scholarly publications and presented her research at national seminars, emphasizing the role of student organizations in governance and disaster management.
